Our phones battery life is a problem we all have and unless you carry around your phone’s charging cord or an external charging pack with you, you’re left in the cold with no smartphone or tablet. The XOO Belt is a simple solution that wants to solve this problem by adding a charging pack to an item many of us already use everyday, eliminating the need to have to carry unnecessary items.
Despite being a battery pack, the XOO Belt looks and feels like any normal belt, making it ideal to wear everyday. It’s made to withstand anything, so you can wear the belt to work or every other occasion. The Classic XOO belt strap is made from full-grain tanned leather and comes in 2 colors, black and brown, more colours will be available after its release. It’s plain, unadorned and polished to a silver finish so it can be dressed up or down.
The belt features a charging wire that is magnetically and invisibly located against the inside of the belt when not in use. ALL you do is flick down to reveal it, plug it in and place your phone in your pocket to charge while going about your everyday duties. When charging is done, just unplug and flick the wire back up. This allows you to charge your phone unnoticed at 2,100mAh of juice.
The belts Lithium Ceramic Polymer flexible battery is ultra safe, weather-resisant and prepared for anything. There’s six overlapping layers of cutting-edge flexible battery within each belt, so you’ve got enough power to charge an iPhone 6 and some left over for your iPad. It works with iOS, Android and Windows devices.
The buckle contains two charging points to transfer charge in and out of the belt, as well as houses 2x400mAh lithium-ion batteries. It uses a ratchet mechanism to better secure the belt along with zinc buckles for solid wear and a great finish.
